XO_classroom_networkSimple and straightforward can be used to describe the write-up by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) about the HTTPS communications protocol used on the internet. “HTTPS, the secure version of HTTP, encrypts all traffic between a web browser and a server,” and was originally only used when processing password and payments. “But that opinion has changed,” says EFF. Privacy has become a bigger issue and the cost of using HTTPS has gone down.
