Nine mobile Google calendar tricks

Recommended App: Buncee for Edu

bunceeRecently, the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) came out with their 25 Best Apps for Teaching & Learning for 2015. The apps were chosen because they foster innovation, creativity, active participation, and collaboration.

With the Buncee for Edu app, creating stories is even easier for students. Using audio recordings and libraries of background and stickers, students can create and share anywhere. Also, make sure you check out the buncee blog for loads of ideas for integrating “buncees” into curriculum.

The app is FREE for iOS devices. AASL recommends it for Early Elementary and Middle School students. Check out the “How to create your educational buncee” video below:

Recommended App: Brian Cox's Wonders of Life

Wonder of LifeRecently, the AASL came out with their 25 Best Apps for Teaching & Learning for 2014.  The apps were chosen because they foster innovation, creativity, active participation, and collaboration.

One of these apps is Brian Cox’s Wonders of Life.  AASL says that Brian Cox “will appeal to young students and he presents the information in a way that makes you just sit and watch.  You become mesmerized.”  The crisp images and 3D capabilities will hold the attention of students while learning science, math, and social studies concepts.

The app is only available for iOS at $4.99 and is recommended for 3rd through 12th graders.  Check out the promotional video:

GoodNotes is an app that comes highly recommended by many — especially those in the education field.
