“eLibrary Minnesota now includes access to Britannica Original Sources, a compilation of more than 420,000 primary source documents, complete books, and authentic images. Students, teachers, and parents have instant access to an online library full of the creations and discoveries of history’s greatest minds as recorded in the authors’ original words.  Britannica Original Sources gives students access to an extensive, continuously increasing collection of over 420,000 e-works of classic, primary source, and general reference materials covering everything from science to the arts and languages.

Students can research history’s greatest events using eyewitness accounts through this authoritative, fully citable digital resource. This vast collection enables students to research and evaluate the original sources and personal accounts of humankind’s social, political, legal and religious development, as well as some of the greatest discoveries, insights and literary achievements in the words of the actual authors, discoverers and knowledge-seekers.  This tool is a wonderful resource for anyone participating in National History Day.
