It’s time for a mystery! The fifth featured book in our statewide book club, One Book | One Minnesota, is the award-winning “Murder on the Red River” by Marcie Rendon. Both the ebook and audiobook will be available August 2 through September 26, 2021.
This fifth installment of One Book | One Minnesota will be available via Ebooks Minnesota. You can use Ebooks Minnesota on any desktop, laptop, or mobile device with internet access. Ebooks Minnesota’s online platform is MackinVIA. If you would like to read offline, download the free MackinVIA app at Google Play, iTunes, Chrome Web Store, Mac Desktop App, Microsoft Store App, Windows App Download, or Kindle Fire App.
You can access the full Ebooks Minnesota collection without creating an account or logging in. Creating a personal MackinVIA account does, however, offer the following benefits:
- MackinVIA will automatically remember your place in the book
- You can take notes and highlight within the book (this will be retained to your personal MackinVIA account notebook and can be exported to a GoogleDrive or OneDrive account)
- You can favorite titles to read later
- You can checkout and download a title for offline reading in the MackinVIA app
After you’ve read the book, join your fellow book club members for a virtual discussion with author Marcie Rendon. To attend, you must complete a free online registration form. The discussion will take place Tuesday, August 31 at 7:00 p.m. CDT.
