Educate About Climate Change at Your Library Did you know? State Library Services has partnered with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) to create several traveling tabletop exhibits that are loaned for free and distributed via interlibrary loan service. There are three interactive exhibits available, highlighting different facets of climate change and actions we can take to address it. food and climate Food and Climate Change uses larger-than-life food models to illustrate the greenhouse gas emissions. When someone picks up a food model, it activates a computer monitor to share information about emissions from farm to table. The exhibit suggests food choices to lower greenhouse gas emissions. map of MN Minnesota’s Changing Climate showcases what communities and organizations are doing throughout Minnesota to address climate change. Another component of the exhibit illustrates the effects that climate change is already having on Minnesota. climate resilience Climate Resilient Communities looks at actions we can take in our communities to be more resilient to extreme weather, warmer temperatures, and wetter seasons.   These actions can often address more than one problem and help build stronger communities. To reserve an exhibit, send an email to Portable.Exhibit.Loans.MPCA@state.mn.us. In your email, please specify which exhibit you would like to borrow and any date preferences. Each exhibit is loaned for four weeks followed by a week for transport to another library.   Updates from the State Culture is the Cure speakers
