This week we are sharing a special pop culture episode with you! We are looking at the movie Last Night in Soho. IMDB describes the plot: “A young girl, passionate about fashion design, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it seems, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences.”

You can find our full show notes here, with links to our beverages and the books we share today.

The star of this movie is the wonderful Anya Taylor-Joy. You may remember her from the Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit. Also featured in this movie is the incomparable Diana Rigg, in her final movie appearance. She passed away in 2020, but you may remember her from her badass role in the 1960s tv series The Avengers, or from her badass role in the Game of Thrones series!

We have more to discuss, so let’s settle in and get to the fun part: the book discussion! This week we are taking a quick look at some books about time travel, to celebrate this new movie.
