We know that none of our libraries – and probably no library anywhere! – has a bunch of spare money.

And, of course: we all want to share more resources and more material with the communities we serve. Patrons deserve good things!

So, be sure you are telling your patrons about the free books they can have through Ebooks Minnesota!

Anyone in Minnesota can use this program. Patrons can sign in with a library card, they can set up an account, or they can just click into it while on a device with an IP address in Minnesota. Yep: it’s just that easy!

You can browse through a variety of different materials here. But I want you to note the groups, or collections, of titles. One of the great things about these books, and any from Ebooks Minnesota, is that EVERYONE in a class can all check it out at the same time! Yes! You can provide access to an entire class, at no cost!

(If you want to take a moment here to celebrate, that’s perfectly appropriate!)

Check out a few of the groups of books available:

  • AP English Literature 25 titles
  • Award Winners for All Ages 61 titles
  • Award Winning Books and Authors for Adult Readers 154 titles
  • Countries of the World 86 titles
  • High School Readers 823 titles
  • Indigenous Representations 28 titles
  • Issues in diversity 40 titles
  • Spanish Language 500 titles

So much to explore here! (Did I grab a book while looking at these lists? Okay, was it only one book??? Obviously yes, and obviously no!) See what you can share today!
