We are taking a small detour from our usual book group structure to look at some of the pop culture going on around us. And of course: we share related books!
As we always do: grab your book, grab a beverage, and maybe get your streaming subscription warmed up because you are going to want to see this!
Today we are chatting about the megahit movie Soul! It is streaming on Disney+ right now.
The story is pretty simple – at first: Joe is a middle-school band teacher whose life hasn’t quite gone the way he expected. His true passion is jazz — and he’s good. But when he travels to another realm to help someone find their passion, he soon discovers what it means to have soul.
If you like this, we have a few books to share about our own passions and hobbies. If you think adding a new hobby would help you to find your own passion – join us!
