Save the date! The 2017 Minnesota Library Association (MLA) Conference will be held October 5th and 6th at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota. Our theme this year is Radical Librarianship – the power of libraries to provide access to the truth, strengthen our community voices, create opportunity for exploration and innovation, and assist our patrons to build a better future.
We hope you will consider joining us for this conference. It’s going to be a terrific event, attended by library staff from across Minnesota. Participating in the conference is a great opportunity to showcase how your organization supports the radical work of Minnesota’s libraries. Below are several opportunities for your organization to take advantage of in Rochester:
As an Exhibitor you will have more than four hours of dedicated, conflict-free time with the attendees in the exhibit hall (that’s even more than in 2016!). Exhibitor information will be included in the Sched app, and you will have the opportunity to distribute information and marketing materials on-site.
As a Sponsor your logo and/or company name will appear in the Sched app and in various marketing materials based on your level of sponsorship.
As an Advertiser you can purchase a low-priced ad in the printed program which will put your company’s information in front of all conference attendees.
Please also consider making a Donation to the annual Minnesota Library Foundation silent auction held during the conference. The silent auction is one of the major fundraising events for the Foundation. Donations to the auction will be accepted until September 22, 2017.
We recommend you respond quickly. Sponsor, Exhibitor, and Advertiser opportunities are limited, and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are due August 15, 2017 in order to be included in printed conference materials. Learn more and apply today at our website!
