Join us for EdCampMidMN 3.0

As with tradition, we are traveling around central Minnesota. This year Dr. S.G. Knight Elementary School will host!

EdcampMidMN is an open, participatory, dynamic and free professional development conference. Edcamp brings together those who understand the complexities and promises of learning – actual teachers, administrators, and educational support personnel. Rather than being lectured to by experts, Edcampers facilitate their own discussions about relevant pedagogy or promising technology, and share with each other effective learning practices.

Why?

To create:

  • a learning environment for professionals that love to learn.
  • personalized, differentiated and meaningful professional learning.
  • a collaborative environment for professionals to learn from each other.

When?

9:00am – 4:20pm
June 14, 2017

Who can attend?

Do I have to be an educator in Central Minnesota to attend?
No! We will have educators join us from Wisconsin, Iowa, and even Canada. We believe that everyone that attends has something to share and that the right people will be there.

Classrooms are always looking for school supplies. Your nurse’s office can never have enough new socks, leggings, underwear and sweat pants for students that have accidents. We want to help.

In 2017, edcampMidMN is starting a new tradition for charitable giving. As a way to thank the host schools that donate their time, space and people power, we would like to give back.

When you come to edcampMidMN 2017 and if you would like to donate, we ask that you bring either school supplies, socks, leggings, underwear and/or sweatpants (all clothing needs to be new, never used). These supplies will be donated to Little Falls Community Schools.

In future years, these same items will be donated to the district that is hosting edcampMidMN.
