You have heard us talking about our VR kits, and you have seen the blogs our members have shared with us when they borrow the kits to use in their libraries.
And now we want to be sure more members have a chance to try these out!
Here is some of the information from our website about the program. (We’ll be updating this as we progress along over the summer, but this will get you started!)
The VR kits are not too tough to use, but they do need a little bit of instruction to get you started. Once you get the behind-the-scenes information, it’s easy for your students to use them. (In fact, younger users pick them up right away when they have video game experience!)
Join us for training!
Our kits are from Class VR. Each kit has eight headsets in it; we usually loan two kits to each member, to ensure you have enough for your students.
Non-CMLE members are welcome to attend this session, as long as we have open spaces. We will not be able to loan the kits to you, but you can see if you like the kits if you are thinking about buying some for your district or school. If we are not able to accommodate you on this day, we will set up some training later for you.
