SUBJECT: State Library Services recruiting Library Development Specialist
State Library Services is now accepting applications to fill a State Library Program Specialist position. Based in Roseville, this is a great professional employment opportunity for librarians interested in working in a leadership role in the state. Primary position responsibilities include administering state aid programs for regional public and multi-county multi-type library systems, coordinating the state-certified level of library support process, and managing the Library Accessibility and Improvement grant program. This position also serves as Minnesota’s e-rate coordinator.
Minimum qualifications include three years of professional library experience, a background in program and grants management/administration and experience in planning, budgeting and financial reporting. Candidates with a background in data analysis and reporting are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted on the State Jobs website through February 18, 2014.
