A fun CMLE event! Thanks for coming!

We had such fun at Old Chicago on Monday! It was fantastic to see so many members take the time to join us for dinner! We had people from local school, academic, and public libraries come together and we definitely had fun sharing book recommendations, learning about programs, and chatting about dogs 🙂

If you couldn’t make it, no problem! We will have another dinner event again but in the meantime watch our website for an announcement of our next CMLE Tea Party with Library Advocacy Event! This will happen in May at the Mad Hatter Tea House in Anoka! (If you need convincing to take a trip to Anoka, check out the pics from our last event there. Yum!)

Thank you again to all that attended dinner, we always are so happy to connect with our fantastic members in person!

Next week! Dinner with CMLE!

Hey there all you hungry library people, are you joining us next week for dinner at Old Chicago??

We hope you can join us at 5:30 pm on Monday, Feb 11th at Old Chicago in St. Cloud. We’ll have dinner, library conversation, and enjoy each other’s interesting company! We’ll be happy to listen to problems, hear about your cool new program, your exciting new project, or brainstorm ideas to solve a challenge. If we run out of library topics we can always share cat pictures, right? 🙂

And CMLE will be taking care of the cost of dinner, so don’t let that hold you back! We hope you can make it!!

Join us for dinner on Feb 11th!

As if seeing other awesome library people wasn’t incentive enough, CMLE will be taking care of the cost of dinner of those who can attend this event!

It’s always fun and useful to chat with others in the library community, to share tips or ideas or to commiserate about problems. As a library multitype, we want to connect our members to each other, no matter if you work in a school, public, special, or academic library. We want to see you there!

Please RSVP below (and THANK YOU to those that have already responded, we are so excited you can come!)

Join CMLE for dinner at Old Chicago!

Let’s get together! (See photo above as evidence of past enjoyment at CMLE dinner events!)

Join CMLE and other library people at 5:30 pm on Monday, Feb 11th at Old Chicago in St. Cloud. We’ll have dinner and chat about all things libraries. What does that mean? Maybe you just pulled off an exciting program or had a big problem you were able to solve. Maybe you’re looking ahead to a project you’re putting together for the spring. Or maybe you just want to hear about what it’s like working in a library setting that is different from yours!

We’ll do all those things! It’s always fun and useful to chat with others in the library community, to share tips or ideas or to commiserate about problems.

So we hope you can join us! Please RSVP below, we really hope you can make it!

RSVP today for a scholarship to attend CMLE’s Tea Social Event!

We are very excited for our upcoming event at the Mad Hatter Tea House in Anoka, taking place Sunday Sept. 30th at 10:30am.

If you’d like to come to this event, we want to make it as easy on you as possible. That’s why if you RSVP by the end of today, Monday Sept. 24th, we will cover the cost of your Queen of Hearts tea service. Really, if you are a library person, we want you to be able to come and connect with other library folks in the system! RSVP at the bottom of this post.

CMLE is a multitype library system. Our members work in school media centers, history centers, archives, public, and academic libraries, and more. We work to provide opportunities for our members that work in these different libraries to get together and discuss the various library victories and challenges that everyone faces in some form in the library world.
Who knows, you could make a new friend or form some useful professional connections! (Plus, there’s tea and fancy sandwiches involved!)

We hope you can make it! Please RSVP below:
